What a difference a promise ring makes. I like Tiffany Evans, or as my friend likes to call her, ‘The Black JoJo.’ You don’t find many people her age (or ten years older, for that matter) that can actually hold a note without extensive weight training these days, so I’m going easy on her.
She’s cute, but I must be getting old, because the minute I thought about her age (14, I believe) my reaction was, “What her lil’ young self know about being grown?” If you need a senior to buy your R-rated movie ticket, you’re not grown. If Bow Wow is featured on your song, you’re probably only five years removed from the breast pump. Sit down until you can vote.
Grumpy aging young man sentiments aside, it’s a cute little song in the tradition of “Age Ain’t Nothing But A Number,” and about 80 other songs young girls switch their non-existent hips to en route to the school bus.
*Neck roll* I’m grown.” *Sucks teeth*
Then they’ll get bills, and begin to loathe adulthood until they start caking up (or find a sucker). Until then, all of you 106 & Park viewers can look forward to watching this video everyday for the next three months. Enjoy.
