The Eeyore of Pop Music
She’s got Slick Rick’s eyepatch, the Roadrunner’s hairstyle, the swagger of Zuul from Ghostbusters and enough fire to put down California for good, but I’m still bored out of my mind when watching a Rihanna performance.
I get that she’s pretty and while not being a bugawolf is always a good thing, at the same time shouldn’t her performances be more engaging by now? I was honestly more drawn to the fact that she looks like the son of Prince than anything else.
I gave her props for no longer sounding like Billy Goat Gruff, but she still has the intensity level of a narcoleptic. In short, she is the Eeyore of Pop Music.
Now, I know you Rihanna stans are ready to get slick with me for backsliding, but it is what it is. She has to stop relying on pretty.

Beyonce/Sasha am a schizophrenic fierce! is still as weird as hell and is just trying too hard ! there is just something wrong with a grown assed woman wearing leotards and constantly showing us her crotch! really energetic performance though!

ZZZzzzz….Rhiana’s performance was worse than the “I am” disc of Beyonce’s new CD.
I don’t care how many times they change the camera angles, the woman is still just walking from frame to frame doing NOTHING…she definitely needs to take a lesson from Sasha.

what I will say in Rihanna’s “defense” is that at least she moved A WHOLE LOT more than Mimi LMAO! You would think after damn near 20 yrs in the biznass, that woman would know how to at least walk around the stage in some damn heels without looking like she’s going to fall at any moment

I liked the yellow dress, I thought it moved well and she looked really pretty…but yes, she’s a boring performer. I remember seeing her do Pon the Replay and thinking “She looks bored by her own damn self” lol.
