He has an opportunity to gracefully slip into the same category with such refined R&B crooners as Luther Vandross, The Isley Brothers (prior to 2000), Brian McKnight (prior to 2003), and Maxwell. I wish he would just take it.

The sexed up, classless R&B is played. The demographic who likes that music isn’t paying for albums anyway. He should go after a more mature market with both buying and staying power. He does still have talent but people aren’t going to listen if they’re irritated by his charades and attempts to stay forever relevant to the 16-25 year old demographic.

I think its definitely time for Usher to consider his future and what type of music he wants to stick to. It feels like he’s taken a step back from Confessions…. Do he really wanna be the creepy ass old man in the game singing about how he can do you right? If so I can get him the gold teeth and the f’d up hat/overly dark sunglasses pants suit right now

on topic: It seems Ursh is going in a different directions (IMO none in a good way). If what was supposed to be his entire album that leaked last month is what he’s selling, I suggest he pick up an application for UPS or something.

man, “seduction” usher had swag on a hundred thousand trillion…now i see why men are scared to marry. This song is just “there” like you said michael, im just ready for another R&B dude to take over. THese ones we got now are tired…

Dream-great prducer, but cant sing, and gets repetitive real quick
neyo-brilliant writer, decent singer/dancer, no it factor
cbreezy-ike turner issues, makes mediocre music, but more talented than most
trey songz-great voice, hot tracks, want to have sex with you, but youre not a star

The song and the video are alright but nothing special. Usher just seems confused about what direction he wants to go in with this album because Confessions spoke about his breakup with Chilli and people were interested because we didn’t really know anything about the situation. Everybody knows everything that went down between him and Manteka and I’m not interested to hear anything else about that relationship, and I agree that he better be glad that Street Fighter Brown has anger issues otherwise it would be a wrap for him.
