It’s Still Father’s Day, Right?
This is something I wrote five years ago. It wasn’t the easiest to write, but at the time, it meant the world to me that a writer and editor I admired left an encouraging comment.
I can’t make myself read the entry again – at least not today – but I encourage you to do so.
This is me on my dad in reference to Father’s Day.
Do check it out, please.

Wow! My boyfriend went through the same thing with his father. He wishes he could have asked his father those same questions, but he died before he could.

i definitely admire your honesty and how you have allowed yourself to bear all…your story is similar to many….the fact that are conscious and wise enough to realize that other factors influenced him and that you are determined NOT to be him is beautiful…as my brother once said to me “take the best and leave the worse to be better”
